New SRC Chaplain
Please welcome Harold Piet as our SRC Chaplain, effective January 15, 2024.
The SRC Board is happy to announce that Harold Piet has been selected as the new SRC Chaplain.
Harold Piet is currently Chaplain of Georgia II and Pastor of an online church. Harold is an honorary member of Georgia II, and formerly an honorary member of GA VIII.
Harold has an impressive list of experience and credentials. Harold retired from the US Army after 20 years. Harold accepted Jesus and became a Christian in 1986 in Anchorage, Alaska, and taught Sunday School for about 20 years. Harold is Ordained by Pembroke Christian Church in Pembroke, GA. Harold has served as Interim Pastor at Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Statesboro, GA, and Pastor of Merrywood Baptist Church in Statesboro, GA. Harold started an online church in September of 2023.
Harold’s clerical education includes being a 2017 Graduate of Guido Bible College with an AA in Biblical studies, a 2019 Graduate of Guido Bible College with a BA in Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry, and a 2022 Graduate of Luther Rice College and Seminary with an MA in Ministry. Harold is currently taking bible courses offered by various colleges.
Harold Piet’s duties shall commence as of the date of this bulletin. Harold resides in Pembroke, GA. His contact information is on the SRC Website.
