FL IX to Host the 2028 International Convention

FL IX will host the 2028 International Convention in Daytona Beach, FL.

In July of 2026, the Board of Directors (BOD) was tasked at its meeting with procuring a host and venue for the 2028 International Convention. This is normally a task for the Board of Governors, but no bids were submitted within the required time frame; therefore, under the by-laws the task falls on the BOD.

Thankfully, Florida IX stepped up with a proposal for holding the convention in Daytona Beach, FL. The BOD unanimously voted to accept the FL IX proposal. The International Convention will be held in Daytona Beach in the summer of 2028 (June or July). Exact details cannot be announced until after the 2027 International Convention.  This is a great opportunity for SRC members to attend an International Convention.
