The Blue Knights and the SRC
The Blue Knights® International is a world-wide Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. Blue Knights International has approximately 15000 members in 600 Chapters worldwide. The Blue Knights Southern Regional Conference (SRC) is one of several defined geographical regions within the Blue Knights International organization.

2022 1st Quarter Data
On December 3, 2021 it was reported that the SRC had 74 chapters with 2006 total members. On March 28, 2022 (approximately 4 months later) it was reported that the SRC had 72 chapters with 1835 total members. That represents a loss of 2 chapters and 171 members (9%).
On December 3, 2021 it was reported that the entire Blue Knights organization had 609 chapters with 16126 total members. On March 28, 2022 (approximately 4 months later) it was reported that the entire Blue Knights organization had 564 chapters with 14331 total members. That represents a loss of 45 chapters and 1795 members (11%) organization-wide.
With eleven (11) conferences reporting, the SRC ranked 8th in the percentage of members lost, and the SRC ranked 9th in the percentage of Chapters lost.
Aging, illness, deaths, and the pandemic have contributed tremendously to the recent decline in membership. The pandemic, economic environment, and the changing mentality of younger generations have also hampered recruitment efforts and impacted the growth of the Blue Knights organization overall.
